The principles behind ALIFIT are based in biblical scriptures because I see fitness as not just the body but also the mind and spirit. Spiritual, mental and physical wellness are intertwined and interrelated. My goal is to support clients in their quest for spiritual, mental and physical wellness through the ALIFIT Approach:

Always speak life

Your words have power. The words you choose to speak over your circumstances and your abilities resonate. As a trainer, my mission is to support you in only speaking life over yourself, so that your only option is to thrive.

“Death and life are in the power of the tongue, And those who love it will eat its fruit.” Proverbs 18:21 

Love your body at every stage

As women, we can often pick out one part of our body that needs work or we are not particularly happy with. However, as a trainer I do not support body shaming. You are in perfect progress towards achieving your goals in physical fitness and overall wellness. Love your body now, not later.

“Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? 20 For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body[a] and in your spirit, which are God’s.” 1 Corinthians 6:19-20

I am capable

You must believe that you can and will achieve your goal. Workouts are meant to be challenging. Change does not come easily or overnight. You do the woman size and God will do the rest.

“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” Philippians 4:13

Fear is a liar

That little voice in your head telling you to give up and quit while you’re ahead is a complete pathological liar. Don’t ever listen to her. Remember where you’re headed. Feed your faith and starve your fear.

“For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.” 2 Timothy 1:7

I am an overcomer

There will be times along the journey that are extremely trying. Not just physically, but also emotionally and mentally. Keep your mind sharp and put your body under submission. Know that you will overcome and rise above hard times and the challenging workouts.

“And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.” Revelation 12:11 

This is only the beginning

As a trainer, my goal is to equip you with the tools to continue this fitness journey of wellness and wholeness. It is essential that you set yourself new goals and continue in your newly established healthy habits. You’ve got what it takes, God’s got your back, now keep going!

“…being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.” Philippians 1:6
